Our Forefathers saw the private ownership of property as the building block of Liberty & Freedom. Today there are those who threaten this right granted to us. It is the responsibility of government to protect these rights.

    Protect the Culture, History and Traditions of Lumpkin County…

Our history and our culture is what made Lumpkin County the desirable place to live that it is. We need to protect, preserve and promote these characteristics to see that they are never replaced or destroyed for future generations.

    Improve Accountability and Transparency in Government…

This is a necessary component of good government. Providing the tax payer with needed information.

    Fiscal Responsibility…

Being a good steward of the tax payer’s money. Control government spending and not spend above the Counties abilities.

     Promote Responsible and Balanced Growth

Growth is a factor that we in Lumpkin County have to accept, but we do not have to allow any type of growth that knocks at our door. We need to evaluate what we need in this county and work towards that goal responsibly.
